That is, when you feel wronged by a company (be it a salon, a bakery or retail shop) you make yourself feel better by rating them poorly on not just one website but as many as you can?
Can companies retaliate if they realize who it is? It's an opinion or an experience so it's okay to put it out there, or is it slander/liable?

I've been trying to get my gym contract canceled and the gym guy is making it impossible to get a hold of him to even discuss it.
Unless it's over the phone (which is also hard) so he can say things and not follow through on them, I'm so frustrated and totally stalking him now to not only get a hold of him but to also be able to say look how hard it was for me to get a hold of this dude.
he said we could talk about canceling or reducing the rate, but every time i call he says to email him.

My fiance and I combined our finances shortly after we got engaged last August, and I am in charge of managing our money. We're getting married in November.
Right now, we pay everything we can with a credit card.

I have exactly enough money saved for a down payment on a house (I have already been pre-approved), my concern is whether I should pay off my credit card debt with the money or just move forward and buy the house. Either option would completely wipe out my savings, so I am concerned and need advice.
